In practice, FIDIC Contract Conditions serve as a universally recognized standard document in the international engineering sector and have been widely applied to overseas infrastructure, energy, and EPC projects. Proficiency in these rules can effectively shorten the bidding and negotiation cycle, mitigate contractual loopholes, and reduce performance risks in cross-border engineering projects. On the morning of August 14,2026, Mr. Liu Bo, Director of the Cross-Border Investment and M&A Business Center (Foreign-related Legal Service Center) of Beijing DHH (Guangzhou) Law Firm, was invited by China GDE Engineering Co., Ltd. to deliver a legal lecture on "Analysis and Application of FIDIC Contract Conditions" to the staff from overseas business departments.

Drawing upon his extensive practical experience in the field of international engineering projects across Central Asia, the Middle East and other countries, Mr. Liu Bo has conducted an in-depth analysis of the practical application of the FIDIC Contract Conditions. The key topics covered include the FIDIC contract work (Red Book, Yellow Book, Silver Book, Green Book, and White Book) and its evolution; a comparative study of the FIDIC Contract Conditions (Red Book, Yellow Book, and Silver Book); the applicable scenarios for the FIDIC Contract Conditions; as well as interpretation of the core clauses and case studies of the FIDIC Silver Book and Yellow Book.
